This is the strategic position of “Casa Scattina”, a XVIII century barn currently under refurbishment, that will be ready to receive its first guests by next Christmas Holidays, in 2007.
The stone house, built in Ligurian style and located next to a XVII century small church, was originally used as a farm building, with space to store the hay on the top floor, a room for farm equipment and tools on the ground floor, and a stable on the lower floor. Surrounded by old growth woods, the building is now becoming a four-floor charming house with a fascinating lounge, a great kitchen, a tres jolie dining room and a beautiful bed room under the wooden roof, with a maximum guest capacity of 6 pp. Sun is the great protagonist of this special place which is in the bright light all day, due to its perfect exposure. All the facilities and shops are reached with a 5 minute drive. The building is enriched by an extensive library and original wood and stone scultures made by the owner, an Italian novel writer and artist, Simone Perotti (www.simoneperotti.it).
